Before you start packing for your Ecuador vacation, you need to decide what type of luggage will be the most practical to use. If you are spending most of your time in the city, or with an expensive tour group, a suitcase will be fine. If you traveling into the Amazon, or moving around a lot, I would recommend a good backpack.
